Entry Fee:  $25

The unique format makes for a fun and competitive event for bowlers of all averages.  Format:

 Average 150 and under:  Receive a strike for getting 8 or more pins on the first shot or leaving a split (i.e. 4-6-7-10 etc.)

Average 151-170:  Play 8 pin no tap

Average 171-189:  Receive a strike for 9 or more pins on first shot or getting an 8 count split (i.e. 7-10)

Average 190-209:  Play 9 pin no tap

Average 210+:  Regular scoring except any 8 count split is worth a strike.

THE 40 FRAME GAME

ENTRY FEE:  $25

Try a format that redefines bowling:  1 game = 40 frames. 

Not quite regular frames either.  Bowl for strikes and spares, as always, but this format has more than a few twists.  Start with the idea of merging four games into one continuous score. 

Throw in some no-tap frames, mulligan frames, sour grapes frames (pins deducted if you don't roll a strike) and a few bonus shots.  Every frame offers something different from the previous one.

Bowlers of every average and experience level will have fun playing the format. 

Tournament entry fee is $25 of which $17 will be earmarked for prizes.  As a special incentive Beverly Lanes is kicking in $25 toward the "Big Whammy" Jackpot to go along with what accumulates through the tournament entry fees.
